Aeon is an Alberta-based company founded in 2004 specializing in professional paleontological consulting and research-based services. Our team is dedicated to assisting our clients in achieving compliance with the paleontological portion of the Historical Resources Act of Alberta and similar legislation in British Columbia, Saskatchewan and northern Canada, and to protecting and preserving all fossil resources.
We pride ourselves in being an efficient, highly experienced, and professional paleontological team delivering timely, cost-effective expert advice, reporting, and field services to our clients.

Aeon maintains the highest levels of health, safety, and environmental standards for our employees, contractors, clients, and the general public at our workplace and in the field. Our commitment to the prevention of injuries and the support and protection of workers is outlined in our comprehensive Health and Safety plan, our 25-year injury-free record, and full support of government and industry Health and Safety regulations in the provinces and territories we operate in.
Our employees possess the relevant expertise for paleontological research and training to perform fieldwork in a variety of industrial, construction, and wilderness contexts. All workers are required to hold current certifications that meet our clients’ and Aeon’s comprehensive health and safety requirements. We carry $5,000,000 CGL, Professional Liability (E&O) and Commercial Vehicle Insurance and maintian WCB and WorkSafe BC coverage for all our employees.
